A new high-speed machine of the 6mm cutoff class has been added to our AQ-series of three and four-station cold formers. The new cold formers offer some great new features that are explained below.

＜Construction＞

• Transfer fingers open to a much wider dimension than current types to completely clear punches.
• Larger kickout timing window helps stabilize high-speed operation and decreases mechanical vibration.

＜Benefits＞

• Timing adjustments are much easier. Limitations on sliding die travel length are significantly reduced or even eliminated. Increased freedom in die design means you can cold form more product configurations.

＜Construction＞

• As the Final station, the transfer fingers chuck the finished blank and gently drop it into the delivery chute.

＜Benefit＞

• Eliminates double hits, cleanly separates blanks from trimming scrap, prevents mix-in of defective workpieces. Also eliminates scarring that can result from uncontrolled blank exit.
