  • To assure a stable high-speed forging action, independent positive cam action drive mechanisms are used to power the wire feed, cutoff, kickout, and transfer systems. Positive-cam-action uses mechanical pressure to both lift and return cam followers.
  • Final station transfer chuck gently carries the finished blank out of the former. Besides providing stable high-speed blank delivery, the product discharge transfer chuck prevents double hits, eliminates blank scarring, and allows defective blanks to be separated from the finished batch.
  • Wire grip mechanism locks the wire in the cutoff die during the shear stroke to prevent short spec cutoffs that can result from wire pull-back. (optional)
  • Assist & Saver Mechanism assures completely dependable transfer of the shortest blanks and those with stepped shanks. (optional)
  • By the system called Punch Clearing Transfer,Transfer fingers open wide enough to completely clear the punches, thus eliminating the need for special punch reinforcing. (available for model AQ6-3)
