Asahi Sunac AF-Series part formers are designed
to be easy to operate, produce a wide variety
of precision workpieces, and reduce costs.
Fain Cutting System
- Straight-pass and universal transfer types
are available for our 5-die 5-blow and 6-die
6-blow part formers. This kind of transfer
flexibility means you can form a wider variety
of complex workpieces.->Forging Examples
- Block change system shortens job changeover time by making die
block replacement fast and easy.
- Fine cutoff systemdelivers a precision cutoff face that eliminates
the need for face correction hits, results
in higher quality workpieces, and extends
tooling life.
- The management system of the Multicontroller-based machine quickly and automatically
sets up the former for a new
job, and provides
various tooling management
functions that
assure the production of quality
workpieces.
- The Assist system can be used with the universal
transfer mechanism, and the
Assist-Saver
system with the straight pass
transfer mechanism.
Both provide a dependable high-speed
transfer
action for short blanks.
- Transfer chuck at the final station carries
the finished blank out of the forging area.
In addition to preventing scarring of finished
blanks, the final chuck can also be used
to separate defective workpieces so they
aren't mixed in with the finished batch.
- Pivot transferblock allows the transfer system to be raised
and pivoted out of the forging area for convenient
set up from the operating platform.
- Universal transfer chuck can pass the blank to the next station
while rotating it. The ability to change
the grip position on blank opens up the possibility
for many new forged products.
