New SF Series Part Formers

The new SF series part formers incorporate new functions based on the "net shaping" concept. This means that costs are reduced by the ability of the forging process to produce high-precision workpieces that require minimum processing after leaving the part former.

Fine Cutoff System

  • The Fine Cutoff System uses a cam-driven linkage that applies crankshaft power directly to the cutoff mechanism.

 

SF Series Part Formers with Net Shaping Technology

Fine Feed System

  • The Fine Feed System not only improves the quality of the cutoff surface, but also reduces weight variations between the cutoff blanks.
  • A sensor at the stopper mechanism monitors the length of the blank at each cutoff to micron-level precision.


Fine Slide System

  • The Fine Slide System significantly improves ram traverse precision and extends tooling life.
