Available in 3,4,and5-die models, the SQ Headers feature a mechanical system that’s been
re-evaluated from the customer’s point of view.
They represent a basic re-thinking of the cold header’s function and performance ability for producing screws, bolts and other precision formed products.

Straight-Pass Transfer System
The transfer system uses a punch clear transfer method, which significantly expands finger opening.
Fine Cutoff System
The cutoff mechanism uses high-rigidity levers, and the positive cam drive delivers high-speed, stable operation.
Fine Feed System
SQ series use a grip-type wire feed mechanism that dramatically improves ability to control cutoff length variation.

Assist Saver System
To securely chuck products which are difficult to chuck with transfer fingers (such as products with a short length or which are stepped), this system holds the product with the front surface of the die in tune with the kickout timing.
Options include an assist function, in whch the arm swings in sync with the transfer movement for conveyance to subsequent processes to insert the product into the die before the punch touches the product.
Warm Forming System
Warm processing is possible by incorporating a High-Frequency Induction Heater.
Both Cold and Warm processing can be handled by a single machine.
