Introduction : Built a new robotic coating line-in-house to solve issues with quality variations caused by hand spray and the lead time in the outsourced coating process.
Benefits :
1. Coating qualities were stabilized and the rate of defects was greatly reduced by combining with an EAB400R that is angled at the gun tip and allows coating with less robotic motion.
2. By the automation, the burden on workers could be drastically reduced, and the shortening of the lead time was realized.
